A Decision Science Practitioner Consultant role for a consulting company, based in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Gurugram or Hyderabad, in the office. It suits people with 4 to 8 years in data science and Generative AI, who can build LLM and RAG solutions and work on cloud AI platforms.
The role
This is a full-time consultant role with a consulting company, working on data science and Generative AI projects for technology clients. You will design and deploy GenAI solutions, build agentic AI workflows and optimise RAG pipelines on vector databases. You will also help clients plan cloud-based AI and machine learning platforms.
A typical day may include building or reviewing models in Python, working with LangChain, LlamaIndex or AutoGen, and checking retrieval accuracy and system performance. You will also discuss requirements with business stakeholders, turn their problems into clear data science plans, and share progress with your team and the client.
We are looking for a person with 4 to 8 years of experience in data science and Generative AI. You should have hands-on work with large language models, RAG pipelines, Python, SQL and machine learning. Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP AI platforms is needed. Exposure to Hugging Face, computer vision, MLOps tools, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and to marketing, supply chain or sales analytics will help. Some team leadership and stakeholder management experience is welcome.
The role is based in Bengaluru, Kolkata, Gurugram or Hyderabad, and the work is in the office. The notice period should be up to 90 days.
