The role

A manager role in corporate strategy and growth at a consulting company. You will advise CEOs and chief strategy officers on growth, mergers and acquisitions, operating models and cost reduction. Hybrid work across seven cities with 8 to 16 years of post-MBA experience.

The role sits in the strategy team of a consulting company and focuses on the questions that top executives face most often. You will work with clients on how they grow, whether through their own expansion or through acquisitions.

Day to day, you will shape growth plans from strategy through to execution planning. You will support deal teams across the M&A lifecycle, including target screening, synergy assessment, strategic due diligence and post-merger integration. You will also help design future-ready operating models and organisation structures, and you will lead multi-disciplinary project teams.

The work covers market entry, geographic expansion, business model development, strategic cost reduction, pricing and channel transformation. Many engagements also link sustainability and digital transformation goals to business outcomes.

We are looking for someone with a fact-based, structured approach to unclear business problems. You should have a track record of working directly with C-level clients and board members, and of selling and delivering strategy engagements. Skills needed include operating model and org design, due diligence, M&A, corporate and growth strategy, strategic cost reduction and business model development.

You should have 8 to 16 years of post-MBA experience in corporate strategy, growth strategy, market entry, operating model strategy or general management. Experience in tier 1 consulting or blue-chip corporate roles is preferred. An MBA or post graduate diploma in management from a tier 1 institute is required. The role is hybrid and can be based in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai or Kolkata. The notice period can be up to 90 days.
