A technology company in Bengaluru, Pune or Hyderabad is hiring an LLM Model Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience. The role covers fine-tuning large language models, instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation. The job is full-time and in the office.

The role is for an LLM Model Developer who will fine-tune large language models. The focus is on instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation, so that the models work well in specific business contexts and meet the needs of users and applications.

A typical day involves working with cross-functional teams. You will analyse model outputs, improve training processes and put in place changes that make the models more effective in real-world use. You will also take in feedback from stakeholders and use it to refine model performance. You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert and contribute to key team decisions. You will help solve problems for your immediate team and across teams, and you will mentor junior team members in model development.

We are looking for strong hands-on experience with large language models and a good understanding of natural language processing techniques. You should have experience with model evaluation metrics and performance tuning. You should be comfortable with Python and with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow. You should also have experience working with large datasets and preparing that data for training.

The experience band is 5 to 10 years. The city options are Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad. The work mode is in the office. The job is full-time. A notice period of up to 90 days is acceptable.
