The role
A Siemens Teamcenter PLM Consultant is needed to help implement and configure PLM solutions for semiconductor and high-tech clients. The role covers BOM management, engineering change management and SAP integration. The work is in the office in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai or Hyderabad.
The role is with a consulting firm that works with semiconductor and high-tech clients. You will lead or support end-to-end PLM implementation and transformation projects, using Siemens Teamcenter across product development, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain functions.
A large part of the day goes to gathering business requirements and turning them into functional specifications, workflows and system configurations. You will work on product data management, BOM management, engineering change management and New Product Introduction processes. You will also support the integration of Teamcenter with SAP and other enterprise applications.
You will work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams and global delivery teams. Support work includes testing, documentation, change management and end-user training. Some work on PLM strategy, solution design, digital thread and digital twin initiatives is also part of the role.
We are looking for 4 to 7 years of experience in PLM consulting, implementation or configuration, with hands-on work in Siemens Teamcenter. You should know PLM processes, product structures and engineering change management well. Exposure to semiconductor or high-tech product development and manufacturing is needed, and knowledge of ERP integration, preferably SAP, is valued. You need a bachelor's degree in engineering, technology or a related technical field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
The role is full-time and based in the office in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai or Hyderabad. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days are considered.
