The role
The company is looking for an Azure Cloud Architect to design and support cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will help move applications and workloads to the cloud. You will also create and maintain architectural templates and operational documents.
You will work closely with business leads, product owners, lead architects and engineers to understand solution needs and choose architectural patterns. You will help development teams resolve application to platform integration issues on IaaS services. You will automate cloud operations and deployment, and help keep infrastructure within budget and SLA.
You should have strong practical experience with Azure and Linux. You should also know load balancers, cloud networking, virtual servers, VPN and security. Exposure to microservices, containers, Function as a Service and managed databases is expected. An Azure cloud certification is required. Experience with data transformation, data connections, application migration and cloud automation is a plus. Good oral and written communication, and the ability to work to tight deadlines, are important.
The role needs 7 to 15 years of experience. It is based in Bengaluru and is full-time, in the office. Candidates with a notice period of up to 90 days may apply.
